1971 DB6 MKII

Finished in Silver with black interior this DB6 MKII has been regularly maintained throughout its lifetime, with its history file containing service invoices dating back to 1979.

Maintained by Richard Williams since 2007, the car has had a recent engine rebuild to 4.2 litre lead free specification. The car has also been re-trimmed in black hides with new, black Wilton carpets and heat and sound proofing has been carried out by ourselves. A full and comprehensive service has also been completed.

This is an outstanding and correct car, maintained to a very high standard and ready for immediate use.

1969 DB6 MKII

Probably the very best, original DB6 MKII available. Extremely comprehensive history file dating back to 1974 containing some 19 MOT certificates, proving the car’s quality and continued use.

Major restoration work carried out in 1988 since which the car has been maintained by various Aston specialists, including Richard Williams who carried out £70,000 of work on the car since 1995, of which £43,000 has been spent in the last 5 years.

Fitted with a factory Webasto sunroof, concealed music system, headrests, upgraded dashboard illumination and lead free conversion.

Recently serviced by ourselves, a very correct and outstanding car, ready to be driven and enjoyed.

1956 DB3S

Chassis number 116 is a customer car supplied new to The Rank Organisation in 1956. Today arguably the most original surviving production DB3S. An undisputed total matching numbers car, fresh from much recent mechanical work completed by ourselves and ready to use and enjoy.

DB4 Series V Convertible

Subject to a nut and bolt rebuild by ourselves some 20 years ago, this superb example of a DB4 Convertible has been regularly maintained and upgraded ever since. Finished in red with magnolia hides and red carpets, it is available immediately to use and enjoy.

1965 DB5 Saloon

This DB5 was in dry storage for many years awaiting a restoration which never happened. The car was then auctioned in an Aston Bonham’s sale in May 2006, where Post Vintage purchased it with a rebuild in mind. It was sold to the current owner a few months later and it was agreed on a total rebuild to the very highest standard along with upgrades etc at a fixed cost.

Since then the car has been totally stripped to a bare shell and the body skin has been removed from the chassis, something that is essential should you require the ultimate car. The steel work was bead blasted, repaired and powder coated. The roof boot and bonnet skins re-trimmed and all other aluminium work was totally replaced to the highest quality by Bodylines.

The body has been finished in the correct Aston Martin Silver Birch. The interior is in the correct Connolly 3086 red. As can be seen in the attached photographs, the restoration is approximately 50 to 60% complete and can now be tailored to the purchaser’s own specification.

Currently the car is fitted with uprated suspension with all new components, rebuilt brake callipers, discs etc, again all to the highest of standards. The gearbox is the original 5 speed ZF unit which has been rebuilt with new bearings and seals.

The engine is currently undergoing a rebuild by ourselves to 4.2 litre specification with Cosworth pistons, new bearings, chains etc. The cylinder head is being built to lead free specification and has an option for uprated valves and higher performance at present.

Other work includes:

1.       All wiring and lights are new

2.       Bright work is all reworked or re-chromed

3.       A new windscreen front and rear to be fitted

4.       Heat and sound proofing throughout

5.       Rebuilt limited slip axle

6.       All new rubber seals throughout

7.       Fully rebuilt suspension with all new bushes, links, gaiters etc

8.       Complete new stainless steel exhaust system to the highest quality

9.       Post Vintage air conditioning system

The above carries a full 12 month parts and labour warranty by ourselves.
