1964 Aston Martin DB5

1964 DB5 Saloon

Supplied new to the Isle of Man in 1964 to a family who retained the car until February 2005. Since then the car has had two further owners to date.
Finished in the original specification of Sierra Blue with natural hide interior and manual gearbox, this vehicle is a matching numbers car, and highly original. It appears there has never been any accident damage and certainly panel gaps, and grill fit would support this.
Two years ago the DB5 was subjected to a full engine bay rebuild by Post Vintage and a full engine rebuild to 4.2 litre; lead free specification. Since this time it has covered some 6,000 miles. The opportunity was taken at this time to fit our own special air conditioning system along with heat proofing, sound proofing and new Wilton carpets to the floors. Recently a full service was carried out and there has also been new brake callipers fitted along with new rear discs. There is also a Becker Mexico sound system fitted for modern use with period looks. New chrome wire wheels were also fitted at this time.
Overall a very exceptional car that is not to be confused with any average cars on the market today. A true car that can be driven any distance without issues and capable of coping with modern traffic whilst returning absolute pleasure.
