Mille Miglia Update Day 3
The final stage is now complete and the Mille Miglia 2009 is over. This leg saw the entrants travel from Rome along a 500 mile route back to Brescia.
This, the longest of the three days, took the cars through Frienze, Bologna, Modena and Parma, enduring approximately an 18 hour journey, reaching Brescia in the early hours of Sunday morning to a hero's welcome. The town has a real party atmosphere as each car arrives and drives up onto the ramp to be welcomed by the Mille Migila officials.
With the journey complete, all that is left is the final presentation ceremony when the official rankings are announced.
Congratulations to Terry and Adrian for completing the 1000 miles. We are looking forward to finding out where they finished and all about their epic adventure on their return.
