The second leg of the journey started in Ferrara where they left off in the early hours of Friday morning.  After four hours sleep, back on the road, the route took Adrain and Terry, in their C Type, through Ravenna, Leonessa and Rieti before finishing in Rome.  They took in landmarks such as the Colosseum en route, not that they have much time for sight seeing, with tight time trials and checkpoints to meet.

The cars are welcomed into each town as they arrive, with locals passing the drivers gifts of local produce to wish them well on their journey.  Whole communities camp out along the route to cheer the rally along,

Three cars have now been confirmed to have withdrawn, one of which is reported to have burst into flames, this really is a race not for the fainthearted!

So now it is on to day three and the final leg.  This is the longest stretch and sees the rally travel from Rome back to Brescia, taking in many towns along the route.  Currently in 171st place there is still work to do.
